|Espalier is the horticulture practice to control woody plant growth for fruit production by pruning and tying branches to the frame . If garden space is limited, consider these double duty plants which can add the decoration along with tasty fruits in the season.

They look so pretty, trained against a wall, don’t they and it makes the fruit easier to pick. However it is not for every gardener. Some like a more relaxed approach, letting the plant do its own thing.
