Gardening Jargon – Trough Gardening

Trough are also known as stock tanks, which gardeners started using for miniature gardening. It’s origin is in Britain, when horse troughs were replaced with metal tubs hence leaving a lot of stone trough containers. Gardeners see the  potential to make use of the them for growing herbs or miniature gardens as a decoration.

Now a days we know similar concept as container gardening.
