Sherman Library and Garden – CA

It was my second visits to Sherman Library and Garden in summer 2017. It is one of the exemplary garden which show case the upcoming trends in gardening and present inspiration to the home gardeners . I was not hoping to see much change from my last visit, but I was delightfully surprised to see the changes they came up with and was bursting in happiness. Let me list some major changes I saw this year

• Glasscapes Garden Art
• Succulent & Stone Art
• Colorfully bustling dahlia garden with buzzing bees and butterflies
• Turtle have been relocated to tropical pond with koi fish

while  maintaining their signature services for their visitors

Quaint cafe (Cafe Jardin) whose roof is showcasing so many different types of fuschias, begonias and mystic flowering plants in hanging basket. Just sit back and enjoy your tea with your loved one. It’s such a perfect place to be in summer afternoon

Gift shop display interesting souvenirs  like gardening books, postcards, soaps, english garden tea party crockery and many fun stuff. I end up buying what I love the most

Along with Library there are small sections dedicated for  Rose garden,  vegetable container garden and tropical garden which displays tropical plants, varieties of ferns and Orchids.

Visit Sherman is like sunny little stroll on a beautiful day.  There is a reason this place is hot favorite among to be brides. I hope you can visit them this summer , and remember to surround yourself with Dahlias along with butterflies and give yourself a nice stretch in café admiring fuschias and begonias  falling beauties.
