Gardening Jargon – Thinning
Thinning is about removing seedlings or shoots to improve the growth of remaining. Make soil damp then gently pull out the unwanted seedlings, leaving the healthiest in place. Thinning help in air circulation and providing proper growth condition to remaining plants. Sometime due to poor air circulation, and continuous wet condition roots might get develop fungal infection. Share

The network of plant’s roots along with the soil is called root ball. Sometimes, Gardeners refer them as Bare roots as well. It helps in transplanting trees and shrubs easily in commercial landscaping from one place to another.
