Tahquitz Falls – Early Spring Hike
|Tahquitz is the most spectacular seasonal waterfall hike in the desert. After a strenuous hike(I’m a beginner when it comes to mountain hiking) seeing that 50-foot waterfall is a moment of bliss. If you are a water baby who loves to puddle here-n-there then it’s just the right place for you. Let your feet enjoy the chilliness of the water. Flowing water just takes away all the hardship you have been through while coming to the fall.
While hiking you will see colorful mountain tops beautiful shades of brown :), desert surrounding it, and windmill farms of palm springs. Lots of opportunities for your inner photographer. Water runs along the side of the trail so it kept me very hopeful to see the waterfall. Tahquitz have an interesting history and documented here – The Legend of Tahquitz
