Plant that grew naturally in a region
why native plants are important
- Native plants are equipped to live with the local climate, soil types, and animals.
- Native plants have developed their own natural defences against many pests and diseases,
requiring less pesticide use. Less soil pollution.
- Native plants provide food and shelter for the native birds, butterflies and all the other creatures we cherish.
Haven’t you noticed the decline rate of butterflies or particular bird species around you ! have you ever thought why ?.
Grow native plants it boost the ecosystem. Educate yourself with native plants and give them a corner in your garden and you will see the difference. I grow native plants in my small heaven.
It would be great if you can share your list of native plants with your location.
Happy Gardening !
